This ministry began 16 years ago when two women of faith
wanted to find a way to reach out in love to those going through a difficult
time. Compassion for others and the love of knitting/crocheting define a prayer
ministry that supports people in need.
Northwest Chapel volunteers will knit/crochet a shawl that
will be given to someone in need, to a member of our church family, or those
that we minister to in the community.
Prayers, while making the shawl, will be for the recipient/family--to be
wrapped in the love of God and will be a reminder to them of God’s presence,
strength, and comfort.
We would love for you to join us for a “knitting session” at
the church from 10:00 AM until noon on Saturday,
December 14, 2019.
