Angel Tree2

A division of Prison Fellowship Ministries, Project Angel Tree is a loving opportunity to connect with children from all over Central Ohio who have at least one incarcerated parent.  Not only will you help build a relationship between the child and parent, but also between the child and their Heavenly Father. This year, the party will be held on Saturday, December 14, from noon-2pm at our church. There are so many ways to support this special mission!

We need your help!  Invite your families, friends,
and other churches to join us!

  • Table Hosts:  (11:00AM – 2:30PM)
It would be great for your entire family to host a table!  Our “angel” families enjoy the interaction and this is where we really have an opportunity to show them God’s love!

Provide festive tableware for your table of about 10 people.  (Paper/Plastic products are recommended for ease of cleaning.  Please include plates, cups, napkins, and silverware.)

Provide a festive centerpiece for your table that can be sent home with your family (i.e., a small decorated Christmas tree, nativity, a wreath, or a floral arrangement).

Arrive as early as 10 AM, but no later than 11 AM, to set up your own table, and be present before our guests arrive.

Welcome your “angels” and guests as if you were in your own home. Greet them at your table, then invite them to join you in some crafts and games before lunch. During the meal, encourage conversation and laughter. Offer to assist them with their youngest “angels.”

Assist your family with collecting their bag of gifts.  Offer to assist them in taking all their items, including table decorations and possibly take-home food to the parking lot (to their car or to the van in which we transported them.)

  • Gift Home Deliveries:  (Dec. 9 - 16)
For “angel” families unable to attend the party, we need families willing to deliver gifts to the caregiver’s home address. This is a great group activity and the opportunity to share God’s love with these families.
